The BSOP 2026 ranking — the season-long race of Latin America's biggest poker circuit — got a fresh look after the Winter stop, and it has a clear owner. Aloisio Dourado didn't just hold on to first place in the Brazilian championship race: he widened his lead, reaching six titles this season and 5,405.4 points in the year the circuit turns twenty.
The facts: two trophies in São Paulo and a new runner-up
The mid-year stop, wrapped up last week at the WTC Sheraton in São Paulo, was a personal showcase for the Brasília native: two titles, three heads-up finishes (a tournament's final one-on-one duel) and another points-scoring run on top. Very few players manage that many final tables in a single stop.
The real news sits just behind him. Alexandre Arantes, runner-up in the Winter Main Event, vaulted to second place with 4,648.69 points — before the stop, he wasn't even in the top 10. Leonardo Carlessi, the previous runner-up, now rounds out the top 3 with 4,178.2, followed by Lucas Scafini (3,769.5) and Renan Buriti (3,656.25).
There's an even tighter race, too: in the Female Player of the Year standings, Lucia Risson leads with 1,007.64 points against Larissa Metran's 1,007.2 — a gap of less than half a point. In the side rankings, Scafini rules High Rollers, Pedro Barossi leads Mixed games and Lúcio Antunes tops Omaha. Next chapter: the Florianópolis stop in September.
