The cheapest road to the biggest poker festival in Brazil opens tonight: the first BSOP Millions 2026 satellite runs this evening with five guaranteed packages, and feeders from US$3.30 sit underneath it. The Millions closes the season from November 13 to 28 at the WTC Complex in Sao Paulo, across 16 days of play.
The facts: the qualifier schedule
Tonight's satellite starts at 9 p.m. Brasilia time, costs US$320 and awards five guaranteed packages. Each package includes the Main Event seat — R$5,000 — plus accommodation from November 16 to 27.
From there the schedule repeats at the same hour: Tuesdays and Thursdays, US$109, five guaranteed seats each. Mind the difference: those award the seat only, with no accommodation. The festival arrives with two additions that explain the interest: the Millionaire Maker, an R$1,200 buy-in with R$1 million guaranteed to the winner, and the Start-Up Mystery Million, an R$1,500 event with an R$1 million envelope in the pool. The Super High Roller Series also expands its schedule.
Why it matters: a satellite is not a tournament
In a satellite every seat is worth the same, and that is the rule that costs the most money when ignored. If five packages are awarded, the chip leader and the fifth qualifier collect exactly the same prize: every chip you stack beyond what you need to qualify is worth zero. This is ICM at its most extreme, and it rewrites strategy near the bubble: with a comfortable stack, folding hands that are mandatory calls in a regular tournament is correct; with a short stack, the clock decides when you play, not your cards.
The real price is the sum, not the ticket. A US$3.30 feeder is cheap once; fourteen attempts already cost more than the direct seat. There is a third filter too, the least glamorous one: logistics. Winning the seat alone means covering sixteen days in Sao Paulo out of pocket.
