The facts: two festivals in one
The 2026 edition keeps the dual format that made Barcelona Europe's most massive festival. First comes the PokerStars Open, the accessible buy-in series whose €1,650 Main Event kicks off Sunday the 16th. Then the EPT proper takes over with the centerpiece: the €5,300 Main Event, running August 22-29 with two starting flights — 1A on Saturday the 22nd, 1B on Sunday the 23rd — and a €10 million guarantee that tells you everything about the expected field.
For the big stacks, the high roller schedule is a full ladder: the €30,000 Super High Roller Warm-Up on Thursday the 20th, the €100,000 Super High Roller on Friday the 21st, the €25,000 PLO High Roller on Saturday the 22nd and the €10,300 High Roller on Thursday the 27th. Two weeks, dozens of side events, and all of European poker under one roof.
