KSOP Fortaleza reaches its heaviest day today: one last chance to enter the R$600,000 guaranteed Main Event, Day 2 in the afternoon, and the start of the R$10,000 High Roller Championship. The fourth stop of Latin America's most beloved live circuit runs through Tuesday at the Gran Marquise Hotel, right on the Fortaleza seafront.

The Main Event — R$4,000 buy-in, 40,000 starting stack, 60-minute levels — dealt its Day 1 flights from Friday onward, five in total. Today at noon comes flight 1E, a hyper with 15-minute levels and the final bullet, before all survivors bag up and return for Day 2 at 4 p.m. Day 3 plays Monday, and the champion is crowned Tuesday.
The High Roller Championship also opens today: R$10,000 entry, R$500,000 guaranteed, a 100,000 stack and 60-minute structure, with its finale on Tuesday. The festival has already flashed its health, too: the R$1,000 Warm-Up comfortably beat its R$100,000 guarantee, with the title going to Gabriel Pinheiro for R$50,500. Part of the field arrived through the circuit's online satellites — the cheap route keeps delivering.
Why it matters
Day 2 of a multi-flight tournament is a different sport. On Day 1 the goal was surviving with a playable stack; from today, every elimination brings the money closer and your tournament's value is no longer measured in chips alone — that's where ICM comes in, the model that converts chips into real money as pay jumps tighten.
